The process commences with the reception of materials. Afterwards, a visual and dimensional inspection of the reels is carried out, and if the material is correct, it is placed in a specially conditioned place for the transformation. Furthermore, we have certificates of material quality as well as its chemical and mechanical analysis.
Forming process and welding
First of all, the reel is placed in the machine. Then all the parameters are adjusted and forming process of the tube takes place. The welding is internally and externally carried out by means of Submerged Arc Welding, which allows a greater structural and dimensional quality.
Cutting, finishes and terminations
Cutting of tubes is made in accordance with the customer requirements, in sections of up to 14 metres. Once the tube is ready, the extremes are bevelled by means of lathes and bevellers, therefore leaving the edges perfectly finished.
We manufacture diameters from 170 mm to 1000 mm and in thicknesses ranging from 3 mm to 10 mm. The tube-lengths are fully customised.
